Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, FL is a regionally producing theatre affiliated with Actor's Equity Association, The League of Resident Theatres, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and United Scenic Artists. Riverside Children's Theatre, the educational arm of Riverside, offers classes, camps, and training opportunities in the areas of theatre, dance, music, and video for all ages on a year round basis.

George and Ira Gershwin’s musical comedy hit is full of classic songs and thrilling dance numbers. When Broadway hopeful Bobby Child heads to Deadrock, Nevada to escape an overzealous fiancee and foreclose on an abandoned theater, he discovers love, life and tap dancing in the desert. James Beaman* (Bela Zangler)
James is thrilled to make his Riverside Theatre debut!  He comes to Vero Beach directly from Pioneer Theatre Company in Salt Lake City where he played Smee inPeter and the Starcatcher.  Other recent credits include: Thénardier in Les Misérablesat Orlando Shakespeare TheaterJohn Adams in 1776 (directed by James Brennan) at Cape Playhouse, and Milt in Laughter on the 23rd Floor at Flat Rock Playhouse. James starred as Sir Robin in the First National Tour of Monty Python’s Spamalot and has originated roles in two new musicals, Frog Kiss and The Road To Qatar! (Off Broadway/Original Cast Album).  Proud Equity member for 25 years! Michael Biren* (Ensemble, Billy)
Michael is thrilled to be making his Riverside debut with Crazy For You. Off-Broadway:Revolution in the Elbow. Tours: Billy Elliot (with Faith Prince) and Cinderella (with Lea Salonga). Molly Jean Blodgett (Ensemble)
Molly is thrilled to be making her Riverside Theatre debut! Previous credits includeMary Poppins (Katie Nanna/ Mary Understudy), Legally Blonde (Enid), Singin’ in the Rain (Zelda), 42nd St. and A Chorus Line (Judy). She has also been seen in NYU productions such as Thoroughly Modern Millie (Gloria), Violet, Sweet Charity, andNine. She is a graduate of the NYU-Tisch School of the Arts (Cap21) with a BFA in Drama and a Minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Courtney Brady (Ensemble)
Courtney is thrilled and thankful to be a part of the C4Y Company at Riverside Theater! A Colorado native, Courtney performed with the Dance In Flight Company at Pepperdine University in California and graduated with a BA in Liberal Arts/Music. She has since traveled the world performing in Broadway-style shows on multiple cruise ships. Now based in New York City, she is a proud member of the USO Show Troupe, which provides support, love, and smiling faces to military service members and their families through music and entertainment worldwide. Love and sincere gratitude to my incredible family and friends.

Joanie Brittingham* (Patricial Fodor)
Joanie has performed both in opera and musical theatre, with American Lyric Theatre, IconoClassic Productions, d'ell A'rte Opera, Chelsea Opera, Opera Lancaster, GLOW Lyric Theatre, LOOK Musical Theatre, Peach State Opera, and Wichita Grand Opera, among others. Shows include: The Tender Land (Laurie), Werther (Sophie), The Light in the Piazza (Clara), The Telephone (Lucy), Hansel und Gretel (Gretel), and The Boy Friend (Polly Browne). She has been noted for her “full bodied voice” (Tulsa World), “vivacious stage presence” (Greenville News) and “lucid diction” (The New York Times).

Abby Church* (Polly Baker)
Abby is thrilled to be playing her dream role at Riverside, where she appeared last season as Eileen in I Love a Piano.  Broadway: How to Succeed…(Rosemary u/s),White Christmas. Tours/NY: Billy Elliot (1st National), 42nd Street (Asia), City Center Encores, Irish Repertory Theatre. Regional: Kennedy Center, Goodspeed Opera House, Riverside Theatre, NSMT, Atlanta TOTS, Hangar Theatre.  TV: “Team Umizoomi”numerous commercials. Acting BFA from Ithaca College.  Cheers, Bloc! Love to Shaun and the entire Church-Lang-Smith-Phillips clan. For Sadie and Nellie, who came all the way from Texas to see their aunt tap dance.

Lauren Defilippo (Ensemble, Patsy)
Lauren a Texas girl, she is honored to be joining this amazing cast of Crazy For You.  Credits:42ND Street at Ocean State Theater(Peggy Sawyer), The Love Note Musical-Off Broadway (Katty), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Footloose (Ariel), HSM 2(Sharpay Evans, Dance Capt), SYTYCD (Guest performer), Six Flags Fiesta Texas Entertainment–Wicked (Glinda), Sesame Street SeaWorld-Elmo Rocks (Jessie). Elise Dwenger (Ensemble)
Elise is delighted to be performing in Riverside's Crazy For You! Past credits include42nd Street and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Lyric Theatre OKC, A Beef & Boards Christmas, IPL Yuletide Celebration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, andMiracles at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Sarah Fagan (Ensemble)
Sarah is excited to make her debut at Riverside Theatre! Favorite credits include the world-premiere musical Holiday Inn at Goodspeed Opera House, Anything Goes at North Shore Music Theatre, The Producers at the Palace Theatre, Singin’ in the Rain,Legally Blonde: The Musical, and Fiddler on the Roof at Music Theatre Wichita. Sarah is a proud graduate of Oklahoma City University with a degree in dance performance. Thanks to the entire team of Crazy For You, and love to my family and Layne!

Jerry Gallagher* (Ensemble, Moose)
Jerry is happy to make his debut on Florida's Atlantic coast, having appeared last winter as the Spirit of Christmas Present in FreeFall Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol in St. Petersburg. Jerry performed the role of Moose in the acclaimed Paper Mill Playhouse production that was broadcast as part of the PBS Great Performances series. When not doing Crazy for You, he is usually forced to shave his beard for such roles as Big Jule in Guys & Dolls (St. Louis MUNY), Big Six in City of Angels (Goodspeed Opera House), and Rushmore in Little Ham-A Harlem Jazzical(Original Off-Broadway Cast).

Natalia Lepore Hagan (Ensemble)
Natalia transplanted from Youngstown, Ohio, to New York City, Natalia is trained in Music Theatre, dramatic acting and numerous styles of dance. Most recently she was seen in The New York Musical Theatre Festival as Lola in The Mapmaker's Opera and was a featured singer in the Abingdon Theatre's anniversary gala honoring Dick Cavett. She has appeared in “Boardwalk Empire” as a principal dancer; has worked closely with Patricia Birch and on many 1920's period pieces including the premiere event for Baz Luhrmann's Great Gatsby. Dance: Tate Modern (London), Ballet Western Reserve; New York: Casper's Fat Tuesday - August Strindberg Repertory Theatre.

Stacey Harris* (Irene Roth)
Stacey is delighted to return to Riverside, where she played Roxie in Chicago. Broadway: Bells Are Ringing. National Tours: CinderellaShow BoatDreamgirls. Off Broadway: The Megile Of Itzik Manger (Esther), The Golden Land (Fannie), Lone Star Love (Consuela, Mrs. Ford u/s). Favorite regional roles include Lola in Damn Yankees, Anita in West Side Story, Jane in 'S Wonderful, Josefine/Monica in Romance, Romance, Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, Edythe in My One and Only, Elaine in Last of The Red Hot Lovers, Lala in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, and Anna in Syncopation. Karen Hyland* (Tess)

Beverly Jensen (Ensemble)
Beverly is an American Musical and Dramatic Academy graduate. Favorite performances include: Phyllis in 42nd Street (Tuacahn Aphitheater, Asian Tour), going Ape in Tarzan, moonlight tapping in Crazy For You, and My Fair Lady (Tuacahn Aphitheater). She also was featured Off-Broadway in Sex, Relationships and Sometimes…Love.  She’s danced for musical artists Josh Triplett and Michael V. Doane and in Broadway Sings for Pride. As a collaborator with the Theater Project in NYC, she choreographed musical works for Macbeth and Horse Play for the Fringe Festival. Beverly danced with Tressor Group in NYC, and Bossov Ballet Theater in Maine where she was leads in Le Corsaire, Nutcracker, Cinderella and HungarianDances. She is very excited to work here at Riverside Theatre in one of her favorite musicals.

Devin Johnson* (Ensemble, Junior, Pete)
Devin is thrilled to be making his debut at the Riverside Theatre with Crazy For You! Tony Lawson* (Lank Hawkins)
Tony has been seen in Riverside productions of The Music Man , 42nd Street , She Loves Me , Grand Night For Singing and Kiss Me Kate. He recently finished a run of White Christmas up at the Alhambra Theatre - singing the leads opposite his wife, Krista Severeid. Both Tony and Krista opened the first season of the new Wick Theatre in Boca Raton - as the Captain and Maria in The Sound of Music. Tony was in Les Miserables on Broadway and has held roles in the National Tours of Ken Hill's Phantom of the Opera (Raoul), Damn Yankees (Joe Hardy), Disney's Beauty and the Beast (Gaston) and Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Ralph Sheldrake).

Ben Laxton (Ensemble, Sam)
Ben is thrilled to me making his debut at Riverside Theatre! National tours: Catch Me If You Can (u/s Frank Jr.), Ghost (u/s Sam). Regional: Next To Normal, Avenue Q, Spring Awakening, Annie (Playhouse on the Square), Chicago, Sound of Music(Allenberry Playhouse), All Shook Up, Fiddler (Bigfork Summer Playhouse). Ben Liebert* (Ensemble, Mingo)
Ben Broadway/Tour: Wicked (Boq); Int’l Tour: Grease (Eugene); Regional: Full Monty (Malcolm), Young Frankenstein (Igor), Next to Normal (Henry), Avenue Q (Nicky/Trekkie), Guys and Dolls (Big Jule), Limelight (Chaplin u/s), Beauty and the Beast (Lefou). An accomplished puppeteer, Ben was last seen in El Gato Con Botas, directed by Moises Kaufman, and played the title role in Icarus, produced by the Jim Henson Carriage House. Drew Nellessen* (Bobby Child)
Drew is thrilled to be back at Riverside Theatre where he last appeared crap shooting in Guys and Dolls!  Tours: Chicago (National, Tokyo, Dubai, Bangkok productions),West Side Story (Riff). TV:  “General Hospital.”   Other Credits include Goodspeed Opera House, Sacramento Music Circus, Goodman Theatre, Stages! John O'Creagh* (Everett Baker)
John has most recently appeared at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Mary Poppins, the Shakespeare Theater Company in Washington DC in The Importance of Being Earnestand the Pittsburgh Public Theater in Candida. John has appeared on television on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “John Adams,” “Life On Mars,” “Law and Order SVU,” “Kidnapped” and “Sex and The City.”  He’s currently preparing a book of light verse for publication.

Rob Reynolds* (Ensemble, Custus)
Rob A proud member of AEA for 22 years, Rob is thrilled to be a part of this amazing production. New York and tour credits include Candide (New York City Opera), West Side Story (European tour) and A Chorus Line (National tour). Regional credits:Singing in the Rain, Miss Saigon, Best Little Whorehouse in TexasThe Full Monty, Sunday in the Park with George, and a multitude of others. Marcus Stevens* (Eugene Fodor)
Marcus was most recently seen Off-Broadway in Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking and Forbidden Broadway Comes Out Swinging!  Marcus has worked at The Walnut Street Theatre, The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, The Pittsburgh Public Theater, Sacramento Music Circus and The Kennedy Center, and has played roles ranging from Motel in Fiddler on the Roof to Jamie in The Last Five Years. In addition to acting, Marcus is a Richard Rodgers Award winning lyricist/librettist, whose musicals have been produced in Pittsburgh, California, Philadelphia, Canada, and New York.
