Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, FL is a regionally producing theatre affiliated with Actor's Equity Association, The League of Resident Theatres, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and United Scenic Artists. Riverside Children's Theatre, the educational arm of Riverside, offers classes, camps, and training opportunities in the areas of theatre, dance, music, and video for all ages on a year round basis.

Tuition Assistance

The Riverside Theatre Education Tuition Assistance Program provides financial assistance to qualifying students.

Riverside Theatre is a non-profit cultural organization committed to providing a total theatre arts experience that entertains, challenges, and educates both adults and children.

Riverside Theatre Education Programs are dedicated to offering professional instruction and performance opportunities for the youth in this community.

Tuition Assistance gives every child the chance to participate in these transformational endeavors regardless of financial need.

Important Deadlines:

Applications must be complete for processing. Only one (1) application is needed for the entire 2026-2027 Education Season. Please submit your application within one of the four processing periods – SUMMER, 1st QUARTER, 2nd QUARTER, or 3rd QUARTER.

Tuition discount recipients will be notified the week after the deadline.

  • SUMMER – Applications submitted prior to May 15, 2026, 5:00 pm will be processed and awarded on May 22, 2026.

  • 1st QUARTER – Applications submitted between May 15, 2026, 5:00 pm through July 24, 2026, 5:00 pm will be processed and awarded on July 31, 2026.

  • 2nd QUARTER – Applications submitted between July 24, 2026, 5:00 pm through September 18, 2026, 5:00 pm will be processed and awarded on September 25, 2026.

  • 3rd QUARTER – Applications submitted between September 25, 2026, 5:00 pm through January 1, 2027, 5:00 pm will be processed and awarded on January 8, 2027.

If you wish to apply for tuition assistance outside of a processing period for a quarter in progress, please email kevinq@riversidetheatre.com if the application is for Theatre, or adams@riversidetheatre.com if the application is for dance.

Before starting the online application process below, you will need to attach the following materials as a pdf or jpg:

  • A letter written by the student ( Ages 8 and up) outlining what types of classes they would like to attend and why.

  • A letter of recommendation from a teacher, neighbor, or community leader (Non-family members please).

  • A copy of a recent student report card (Ages 8 and up). 

  • A copy of the family’s most recent Tax Form (For requests of 70% or 90% discount only). Please cover social security number(s) when sending in documents.
