ANDY BENINGO

Andy Beningo, named “Best Comedian” by the Detroit Metro Times, has been heard on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Show and on XM Sirius Radio. He’s appeared on CMT’s “Next Big Comic,” as well as the NBC affiliate show, “Night Shift with Kevin Ferguson.” He has performed at the inaugural Gilda Laugh Festival- where he was the warm-up act for Betty White-at the Great American Comedy Festival and Detroit Comedy Festival. In addition, he’s appeared on the Comedy Time Network, on Comcast Cable, and on MavTV, where Rooftop Comedy highlighted his material on two different series. 

The Duluth Tribune raved about Beningo’s act, saying “he prides himself in clean material, and is extremely funny.” His energetic act centers around growing up as the middle child, technology, life as a college student, fast food restaurants, and a short-lived career as a middle school teacher.  

Now, Beningo continues to be a touring workhorse, performing in some 250 shows a year in corporate events, colleges, theaters, churches, and casinos. He is a regular performer in some of the top comedy clubs in the United States and Canada, including The Improv and Funny Bone Comedy Club chain  He has had the privilege of working with some of the finest comedians in the country, including the late great Greg Giraldo, “Full House” star Dave Coulier, “Saturday Night Live” actor Jim Breuer, Comedy Central stars Maria Bamford and Carlos Mencia, “Last Comic Standing” winner Jon Reep,  comedy legend Emo Philips and “The Bob and Tom Show's” Scott Dunn and Drew Hastings, among many others. www.andybeningo.com
