Front Desk Receptionist
JOB TITLE: Front Desk Receptionist
Full time, 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. $17 per hour with benefits including health insurance, vacation, 403(b), ticket perks, and more.
DESCRIPTION: The receptionist is the public facing representative of Riverside Theatre and directs and greets visitors, phone calls and deliveries along with administrative tasks and office maintenance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Proficiency in data entry utilizing multiple software platforms.
Willingness to interface with the public in person, by email, and by phone in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task a wide range of duties.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior theatre experience is preferred.
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uphold the Core Values of Riverside Theatre.
Perform reception duties including accepting deliveries and directing phone calls and guests.
Answer routine inquiries by phone and in writing.
Provide administrative support to other departments as directed.
Assist with maintaining and ordering office supplies, keeping common areas like kitchen and admin in good order.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Greet visitors, determine purpose of visit and assess whether staff should be notified.
Receive and direct all incoming calls.
Schedule meetings and maintain Boardroom calendar.
Assist with event calendars.
Receive and direct all incoming mail and packages.
Represent the Theatre at events and assist as directed.
Order general office supplies including kitchen items, copier supplies, other items as needed.
Keep kitchen & boardroom stocked and cleaned as needed.
Accept deliveries for food & beverage department, event items and check invoices against items being delivered.
Assist with a variety of administrative duties including mailings, filing, sorting, etc.
